Get it finished for Christmas!!! Needlepoint Finishing Class - Simple Shape and Acrylic Foot Stand Ups
Learn how to finish your own round needlepoint ornament. We’ll be using a no-glue lacing technique and only acid-free materials, ensuring your needlepoint can be enjoyed for years to come. You’ll leave the workshop with a beautifully finished ornament and the confidence to try it again on your own. No previous finishing experience is necessary.
You’ll get 3 hours of instruction, a full finishing materials kit with enough material to make two ornaments, and access to online videos and tutorials in The Needlepoint Finishing Club.
For Ornaments: Round, square or rectangle ornament, 4 inch or less
For Standup: Rectangle or square, 4x4 or less

| Materials Included: | Participant Kit Each participant kit includes a color printed reference guide, and all materials needed (excluding a cording maker and scissors), in a high-quality, reusable vinyl zip-top bag. 2 sheets of Acid Free 4 Ply Matboard. 2 layers of cotton batting. 2 skeins of white floss for cording. 1 card of lacing thread. A length of 6-lb fishing line. Needles. Printed color reference guide. |
| Requirements: | Participants Should Bring: A completed 4 inch round, square or rectangular canvas, blocked. A photocopy of your canvas. Optionally: Bring desired backing fabric, measured 1 inch wider on all sides (6x6 for 4x4). Recommend a not stretchy material. Thin materials like quilter's cotton, velveteen, or silk work great. Amanda will provide many backing fabric options. Two skeins of DMC Floss or DMC Pearle (only if the attendee has a color preference. We have many options available. |
