When we set out to develop this new yarn, we wanted a simple yarn that would be the perfect canvas to highlight our colors. Alma is a fingering single ply, made of the softest merino superwash, with the perfect balance between lightness, body and drape.
Extremely versatile, Alma is great for knitting shawls and accessories as well as sweaters. It is perfect for lace knitting: not excessively thin, or too time-consuming.
When designing the color palette we thought of pairs of colors, a semi-solid and a multi-colored one, to make it easy to achieve exciting combinations for color patterns.
Alma is pure, tender, soft; it brings to mind all things good. So when we had to think of color names, we chose the attitudes that motivate us most.
